I approximate information technology only comes with the territory at this signal, but whenever I become out anywhere and spot something that falls into the 'DIY inspiration' category, I have a picture and email myself. It's something I picked up from a friend a long time agone, and it's actually stuck with me – particularly when traveling.

But when I'grand not headed some place new for inspiration, I'm nonetheless spotting decor trends that tin and should be DIYed. Only I'm finding them online. So, I rounded up 7 of my recent favorites and am sharing them today for another installment of I Spy.

one. This seating expanse in Jesse Kamm's LA Function features a super easy DIY curtain rod ideal for light and brilliant spaces. Merely some tacked upwardly leather and a wooden dowel (run into it in the left corner). And a minimal sofa, like in shape to a DIY sofa I recently spotted from A House in the Hills. (Image via Domino)

ii. Terrazzo patterns are even so popping upwardly in decor and this wallpaper from MuralsWallpaper is something I'd be interested in trying out, especially if I could remove it in one case the tendency dies down.

It could be neat to brand your own version using three-4 colors or textures of removable contact paper cut into organic shapes and applied in a like blueprint to traditional terrazzo. (Image via MuralsWallpaper)

iii. I'k always on the hunt for good fine art (and skillful art never goes out of style), and this piece from Atelier CPH is something I'd beloved to take hanging up on my dining room wall. While I'grand definitely all for supporting artists, I tin't help but re-envision how I could DIY a similar style. Just I also might have to add together this slice to my ever-growing online shopping cart…

4. Wall hangings are still trending and this wall fine art seen on Urban Outfitters could exist the perfect DIY to endeavor.

Round up a piece for copper pipe, a wooden ring, modeling dirt, string, and cookie cutter from the arts and crafts store, and get started. You can gyre out the modeling clay, cut into semi circles (or any other shape, really), poke holes for hanging, and let dry earlier attaching to the rest of your craft. You could likewise comprise some other textures and colors by using woven or leather drink coasters in place of the metallic and pieces. (Image via Urban Outfitters)

5. I don't see "California Cool" going anywhere anytime soon, and that ways those beachy, woven pendant lights are hither to stay for a while. This oversized lighting from this Lisette Voute beach firm design is the perfect example of what I'm talking about.

To make your own you lot could add a large basket or open weave hamper to an existing pendant by cutting the bottom of the basket, plumbing equipment over the light fixture or bulb, and "weaving" back together with a similar textile or neutral rope. six. This custom designed sofa from Daphne Javitch'south NYC space is pretty dreamy, and while it would be a pretty large undertaking, information technology can totally be DIYed.

You could start with layering five-6 pieces of stained wood, one of which is covered in canvas or other durable material and studded, and height it off with some custom eternalize square cushions and pillows for back support. 7. This minimal baby mobile idea was also cool not to share. You could easily replicate this hanging mobile with a handful of wooden dowels and wooden blocks from the craft shop. And really, the process would be pretty similar to our DIY Eames Molecule project with a tweak or 2…

Just drill holes to match the diameter of the dowels, wood glue together, drill a pigsty in each dowel, and cord up with sturdy fishing line. Probably want to make sure information technology's actually secure and hung loftier enough that baby tin't have also much fun with information technology though. (Image via Jenni Kayne)
