I was worried that my child wouldn't get much use from this before she outgrows it (she is very tall for her age) however I foresee her being able to use it for a long time! She is almost 4 months and has been using it for about a month now. The reviews and questions varied on what can be the proper age for your baby to use this bouncer (I believe it said 6 month and up on the box). I think its up to each mom and baby personally. My baby was already sitting up well (assisted), holding her head up and moving it around great and she was kicking her legs all the time by 3 months of age. Once I put her in the bouncer I learned to put a folded up swaddle blanket around her sides and back as she still has some gap between her and the seat. I wish the seat was mesh as my baby does get hot in it and wants out to cool off after a while. When she is bigger I'm sure it'll get better as she fills out the seat more and gets taller. She loves bouncing herself and is starting to explore the toys now. I bought this because other bouncer designs reported injuries to baby. I either have baby girl wear grippy socks or I put an old crib pad under her feet so its non slip. She loves the bouncer and I am pretty happy with it as well. I am a single mom to 6 month old boy/girl twins and had already recently purchased the Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo (not on Amazon) technically for my daughter but it really doesn't matter which twin uses which jumper really. On the pro side, it was super easy to put together and my son seems entertained by it. He hasn't cried for me to get him out of it after over 20 minutes which is a definite plus. I just received it today and he's literally in it right now. My daughter hasn't tried it as she is still napping. Anyhew on to the one big con, it has very little "jump." The straps are really stiff compared to the Fisher Price jumper and my son doesn't seem to even realize it's a jumper. Both twins caught on to the jumping part pretty quickly in the Fisher Price product presumably because it has so much spring. The Baby Einstein product is more like an exersaucer or something similar. At this point I'm on the fence about returning because my son likes it ok but I really wanted a second jumper for my twins because they enjoy jumping so much. Updated review: My original review was premature. My daughter tried and was jumping happily away and my son did too when I put him in it a second time. I still stand by it isn't as springy as my other jumper but my babies love it which is all that matters. It keeps them entertained for a long time so I can get a few things done. In that sense it does the job. For £90 at the higher end of the price range, I did however expect better quality. The main things I am referring to is that the frame is made of stick together steel (designed for being flat packed, but once you assemble it together, it still move around and feels cheap. The other issue I have is the 360 degree seat can only be turned if assisted with an adult, poor baby otherwise has to stay facing one direction as the seat is too stiff to move. Onto the positives, the springs are well protected and seem strong enough to handle the job. The activities are also fairly entertaining with the turtle speaking in 3 languages which is a great development tool. Unfortunately eventually it broke but had been used by my friends twins then us until my boy was about 18 months. I bought this one for. My almost 6 month old baby girl, she loves it. There is even more to look at and touch, I'm very happy with it. Easy to put together. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that the music is produced by the removable turtle and comes on from pushing the buttons and doesn't stay on that long. Now enters the Baby Einstein Jumper. The first time we used the jumper, we carefully put her in and she sat there doing nothing, a bit confused. I moved the jumper for her, and put my hands on her feet to show her the motion. After about 30 minutes she began to sway side to side, realizing the purpose of her legs and feet for the first time. Roughly a week later she caught on and began to bounce all by herself. This began to open the door to other physical improvements. Because of the jumper, she learned head control, then she learned to sit and roll over. Today she is learning how to stand. She plays more and is far more alert. And now, she loves the jumper so much that she cries when we take her out of it.
This one toy has been more important to the development of my baby girl than any of the other treatments.

Nous avions acheter cet article pour les 6 mois de notre fille au début elle était super contente et y a passé quelques heures, mais une fois qu'elle a su marcher (à 9 mois malheureusement) elle n'a jamais voulu retourner dans le siège.... Bon vivement que la deuxième est 6 mois ..

Alle mamme in attesa:lasciate perdere gli sdrai tutti costosissimo.che useranno si e no i primi 3 mesi, dei quali puoi fare assolutamente a meno mettendoli a riposare nel lettino/passeggino, e investite in questo gioco che verrà sfruttato per molto più tempo, oltre che veramente apprezzato da vostro figlio!
There is a good variety of music, meaning you don't just have one song stuck in your head but several different ones.
The one thing I don't like is the octopus, it doesn't spin or serve a purpose other than visual, and because of where it's placed on the bar it prevents the beads being moved from one side to the other.

In summary, if you have some money to burn and are happy to use this activity for 15-20 mins a day (as per health guidelines) then go ahead, otherwise, save your money for something better like a floor mat with fences where your baby can practice more tummy time instead.
